Carving Pumpkins

The finished product.

Roller Skating

Allie got to go to a skating party to celebrate Izzie's 4th
birthday. It was Allie's first time skating. She did
a great job and did not fall a single time. She took
it slow and had a blast.
Allie and the birthday girl.

Ready to try out the skates.

She was a little unsure at first, but
picked it up quick.

Mimi helping Allie around the rink.

Addison had a rough time in the beginning,
but she did much better after a little practice.

Ears Pierced

About 3 1/2 weeks ago I pick Allie up
from daycare as always. Except on this day
she asks if we can get her ears pierced. I say sure
and proceed to stall for the next hour assuming
that she will change her mind. I remind her
that it is going to hurt and that she doesn"t have
to do it if she isn't sure. I go home get my camera
and we head to the mall. She picks out her earrings
and climbs up onto the chair all by herself. Allie did
such a good job and sat really still. After the
girl marked her ears with the marker Allie asked if
she had earrings now. I had to regretfully inform her
not yet. Two girls then pierced her ears simultaneously and
being the big girl that she is, Allie did not cry or make
a peep. My little girl looks so grown-up with her new
earrings. I am so proud of her. She amazes me.

Anxiously awaiting.

The big moment. Allie had a good grip on
the arms of the chair.
