Thursday Night

Last night we went over to Travis and Tina's
house to celebrate my birthday a little early.
Allie and Addison had a good time playing outside.
They loved getting popsicles AND ice cream cake.
Allie was so worn out she was asleep as soon as
she got in the car to go home.
Allie's new haircut. It is a mess in this picture
because she wouldn't hold still for me. She kept
rolling around on the bed so I couldn't catch
a shot of her.

Princess Addison. She came out of the house
in full gear...princess dress, heels and tiara.

Yummy popsicle.

Travis and the girls. I think he was just trying

to steal their popsicles.

This past weekend we went to the lake with
Brooke, Nathan, and Owen. We went out on the
boat ALL day on Saturday. The kids were perfect
the entire time. The guys helped Allie and Owen
fish for a little while then we went up to Campbell
Point to eat lunch. After we ate we went to a little
cove so that we could all get in the water for a while.
We didn't get back to the house until 4:30. That is how
good Allie and Owen were all day.

Owen found a rope on the boat and it
suddenly became his lasso.

Allie was reeling in her line all by herself.
I think Daddy might have a new fishing
buddy.

Allie actually held the fish by herself and then
threw it back in the water like a baseball.

If you look close you can see why Owen is smiling
so big.....he has a HUGE fish on his pole.

Nathan was teaching Owen the proper
way to hold a fish.....first you stick your
finger in it's mouth then you pinch it's
lip. Owen almost had it down.

Does anyone know how hard it is to
get two 2 year olds to look at the
camera at the same time?

Fourth of July at the Lake

After the parade at Rich Hill we decided to
go to Kimberling City to finish out our
weekend at the lake.

Gigi and Papa watching the fireworks
with Allie and Addison.

We were getting ready to watch the
fireworks. Allie loved the fireworks, she
said they were pretty.

Allie and Addison kept running back
and forth on the driveway.

Allie did really well with the sparklers.
She wasn't scared at all and she kept
wanting to do more.

Addison and Travis with a smoke bomb.

Allie and Mimi watching the parade at
Rich Hill.

She was watching the horses go by
in the parade.

Wiping off her hands after eating candy
she gathered.
