Christmas Parade in Kimberling City

A couple of weeks ago we went to the lake to do

our annual pre-Christmas celebration at the lake. Friday

night we went to Silver Dollar City and neither of

the girls would go see Santa. They just wanted

to watch him from a distance. On Saturday we

watched the parade at Kimberling City, which the

girls loved and the Kris, Tina, and I went on the

Christmas home tour. I think we all had a great weekend.

Weekly Trip to McAlisters

Every Wednesday night after gymnastics Allie and Izzie

insist on going to McAlisters. They always get a grilled

cheese, cheetos, and a sweet tea. They have so much

fun together!

Shopping in Branson

In order for Mimi and I to be able to shop we had

to bribe Allie with riding nearly every "toy" as she

would say. It kept her happy and we were able to shop,

so it was a win-win situation. And, since when

did they start charging $.75 and $1.00 instead of

$.25 to ride those things? That is crazy!

Allie is obsessed with school buses. She looks
for them every morning on our way to daycare.
She tells me that when she gets bigger she
is going to ride in one.

Gracie's Birthday Party

Saturday Allie went to her friend Gracie's

birthday party. It was a Tinkerbell tea party

at Beth's Bake Shoppe and Tea Room. The girls

got to color pictures of Tinkerbell and they

played pin-the-wand-on-Tinkerbell. They ate

fruit and pink cupcakes and drank punch out of

little glass tea cups. Allie had a really good time. She

had been talking about the party all week!

Trick or Treat

On Halloween night we loaded up on Papa's

Mule(ATV) with Tina, Travis, and

Addison to go Trick or Treating. Allie was

a bit hesitant at first, but once she got her

first handful of candy she was all in. She said

"Mommy, I don't want to go to our house, I

want more candy." The girls had a great time,

but at the end Allie asked me to take her

bucket because it was too heavy. She then proceeded

to tell me that she was all done and ready to go home.

Of course once we got home it was time to eat

some of the candy. Nothing like a lot of sugar

at 9:00 at night!

Halloween Night at Gymnastics

Last Wednesday Allie got to wear her

costume to gymnastics. She was so excited to

show Miss Sam her turtle costume. She had

a great time and did so well.

About a week ago Shane and I had a wedding

to go to so Allie got to spend the night with

Mimi and Papa. We even got to see Chance for

a little bit. We also celebrated Jake's birthday

a little early.

Roller Coaster

So, I ordered Allie this mini roller coaster for Christmas

and somehow she has already received it. It was delivered

and Shane thought that she needed it now. Allie loves

it and plays with it everyday. I wish I was able to

ride it....it looks like a lot of fun. Now, what to buy

her for Christmas!
